There’s just one episode left of Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette. In the finale, she’ll reveal which man she’s engaged to, which also means that whoever the runner-up is will become another serious contender for the lead of The Bachelor next season. Garrett won’t be the Bachelor, but Blake might be. And Blake is one of several viable options from Becca’s season to give out roses on Season 23.

Blake would be a very solid Bachelor. He’s abnormally good at talking about his emotions for a man, which is a good ability for a Bachelor to have. It means he could give a lot of insight into what he’s going through. Plus, he’s well-liked by fans.

The other strongest possibility is Jason, the third-place finisher. After not making much of an impression early in the season, Jason came on strong in his last few weeks and showed he’s a total gentleman. He’s thoughtful, respectful and fun. And he has a good narrative in which he wasn’t able to show Becca how much he cared and he won’t make that mistake again. Social media loves him.

After that, the shots get a little longer. Fourth-place finisher Wills would make history as the first black Bachelor and is funny and charismatic and an excellent dresser, but he hasn’t made as strong an emotional connection with viewers as Jason and Blake. But he’ll be on Bachelor in Paradise, so maybe if he puts in a strong showing there he’ll raise his chances. He has his vocal fans, too.

What about Rachel’s runner-up, Peter? He should have been the Bachelor last season but got cold feet. He still doesn’t seem interested in being the Bachelor, but if the franchise wants to break the internet, they’d convince him to do it.

Or how would you feel about Ben Higgins again? Ben is one of the most popular Bachelors ever, is still close to the franchise and is still looking for love. He’s talked to producers about doing it again someday. If he wants to go through it again, we’d be down.

Last but not least, it won’t be Grocery Joe. But it should be Grocery Joe.
