Germany’s Xetra trading platform added 104 new exchange-traded fund listings in the first half of the year, the second highest number since the ETF segment was established in 2000, Deutsche Boerse AG (DB1.XE) said Tuesday.

During the period, the segment added the first ETFs focused on Eastern European markets such as Bulgaria and Romania, according to the stock-market operator. ETF issuers J.P. Morgan and Bulgaria’s Expat Asset Management listed ETFs for the first time on Xetra, it said.

Deutsche Boerse said that during the first half there were 13 initial public offerings on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the most since 2007.

The largest IPO was Siemens Healthineers AG (SHL.XE).
