Shane West is playing iconic Batman villain Bane in Gotham‘s final season, and on Monday producer Tze Chun tweeted the first photo of West as Bane. And, well, I’m just gonna say it: my man looks like he’s wearing a CPAP mask.

That’s not very intimidating. It’s hard to be afraid of somebody you know had to see a doctor about his snoring. He has a Darth Vader chest with a sleep apnea face. Tom Hardy was intimidating as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. His mask was pumping him full of anesthetic because long-ago injuries were causing him constant agony. Shane West looks like he needs a good night’s sleep.
Anyway, the final season of Gotham premieres at midseason on Fox.
