The Walking Dead Season 10 Premiere Sneak Peek: Negan and Gabe, Best Buds
It seems TV’s love affair with vampires hasn’t lost its bite after all. Deadline reports that the popular YA vampire saga House of Night is getting the TV treatment courtesy of two people very familiar with the supernatural.
Shadowhunters producers Don Carmody and David Cormican will be adapting the novels for television, though no network is attached to the project at this point. Written by mother-daughter team P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast, House of Night follows the story of Zoey Redbird, a 16-year-old girl who lives in a world where “vampyres” coexist with humans, despite being feared and ostracized by most of the human world. Zoey, a fledgling vampyre, has to attend the House of Night boarding school during her four-year transition, during which she will undergo the “Change” into a full vampyre.
It sure sounds like these two Shadowhunters veterans have all the right ingredients they need to create a new hit series!
