After tying the series with the Vegas Golden Knights at 1, the Washington Capitals will be happy to head back to D.C. and play in front of the hometown crowd for Game 3 on Saturday night. The team enjoyed strong play from its captain Alex Ovechkin and Lars Eller (who factored into all 3 Caps goals), and excellent goaltending from Braden Holtby. However, the Caps may be without center Evgeny Kuznetsov, as he received an upper-body injury in Game 2 when he was checked into the boards by Golden Knight Brayden McNabb. Kuznetsov will likely be a game-time decision; he leads all scorers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 25 points in 21 games. The Vegas Golden Knights will expect production from all four lines in Game 3, and hope that Fleury can return to the level of play he exhibited in the earlier rounds of the playoffs.

You can catch Game 3 on Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern (5 p.m. Pacific). Pre-game coverage begins on NBCSN at 6 p.m. Eastern, with NBC broadcasting the game starting at 8 p.m. You can stream on mobile via the NBC Sports App with your cable login, or if you don’t have cable, you can stream the game via Hulu with Live TV or fuboTV.

Both teams have looked evenly-matched in the first two games of the best-of-seven series. The teams traded leads in Game 1, with the Caps nearly tying it in the last minute of play before Vegas scored an empty-net goal. Then, in Game 2 it was the Capitals who took a 3-1 lead and managed to hold off the Golden Knights in the last few minutes thanks to a gorgeous Holtby save, winning the game 3-2. The play from both teams has hockey fans hoping the series goes to game 7.
