5 Things to Watch Today – July 11, 2017

Summer hasn’t even officially started yet but NBC has already set up your fall TV schedule.

The network announced their fall premiere dates on Tuesday. The Voice will kick things off on Monday, Sept. 24 with Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson returning to coach for Season 15. It’ll lead into the new sci-fi drama Manifest on Monday nights.

Tuesdays should look familiar with This Is Us returning Tuesday, Sept. 25 at it’s usual 9/8c time slot (if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, you know?). Everyone’s favorite family drama will set up Ryan Eggold‘s new hospital fare New Amsterstam, leaving Dick Wolf to take over Wednesdays with a One Chicago lineup.

Thursdays are also interesting with The Good Place getting a one-hour premiere on Sept. 27 starting at 8/7c before shifting to its normal time period of 8:30/7:30c on Oct. 4 with the return of NBC’s full Thursday night comedy block. Law & Order: SVU will also get a double-sized premiere for its landmark 20th season on Sept. 27 at 9/8c before heading back to 10 p.m. on Oct. 4.
