Neil deGrasse Tyson will be returning to TV, says The Hollywood Reporter, as the investigation into the allegations of misconduct against him comes to a close.

The astrophysicist’s series, StarTalk and Cosmos, were pulled from National Geographic’s lineup after two women made accusations of inappropriate conduct, and an investigation into the incidents was launched. Nat Geo put out a statement Friday stating that the shows will return, but it did not include any details about the findings of the investigation.

“The investigation is complete, and we are moving forward with both StarTalk and Cosmos,” the statement reads. “StarTalk will return to the air with the remaining 13 episodes in April on National Geographic, and both Fox and National Geographic are committed to finding an air date for Cosmos.”

Allegations against Tyson surfaced in December 2018, when two women accused him of inappropriate behavior. Bucknell University’s Dr. Katelyn N. Allers alleged that Tyson “felt her up” in 2009 while at an event, and Tyson’s former assistant, Ashley Watson, accused him of making repeated sexual advances toward her. Tyson denied the allegations and addressed the incidents in question via a lengthy Facebook post, in which he also said he would welcome an investigation to clear his name.

“Evidence matters. Evidence always matters,” Tyson wrote. “But what happens when it’s just one person’s word against another’s, and the stories don’t agree? That’s when people tend to pass judgment on who is more credible than whom. And that’s when an impartial investigation can best serve the truth — and would have my full cooperation to do so.”

StarTalk will return in April on Nat Geo.
