New Girl‘s final season is about milestones, and not all happy ones. The season’s fourth episode, “Where the Road Goes,” is about the death of Winston’s (Lamorne Morris) beloved smushface cat Furguson. But don’t worry, there’s way more laughter than tears.

Furguson actually died a year before the events of the episode, and this exclusive clip is of a memorial service commemorating the anniversary of his passing (Winston wouldn’t have been able to handle it last year anyway).

This clip finds the gang arriving at the cemetery (and this ain’t no pet sematary, this is a cemetery for Jewish people, because Furguson was Jewish) in the rain to the sounds of Enya’s “Only Time.”

“Truly insane, this whole thing,” says Schmidt (Max Greenfield), the only member of the gang who thinks it’s weird to have a one-year anniversary memorial service for a cat in a human cemetery. He’ll still perform the matzevah ceremony, though.

The funniest part? Furguson’s headstone says “And now his watch is ended,” the funeral blessing for the Night’s Watch wall-guardian organization from Game of Thrones.

The episode will feature the return of Damon Wayans Jr. as Coach, who has come in and out of the show since the pilot.

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30c on Fox.
