Octane has been focused on growth with its expansion into outdoor power equipment in 2018, and the recent addition of financing for golf carts, pontoon boats, tractors and trailers through in-house lender Roadrunner Financial.
In January, the lender also established a multiyear financing partnership with powersports manufacturer Polaris, and in May Octane launched a digital-to-retail shopping program with Polaris and e-commerce provider Joydrive.
Octane has grown its dealer network to more than 4,000 and had a managed portfolio of $893 million as of Jan. 31, according to an S&P presale report of its securitization.
The Powersports Finance Summit is the only full-length forum for companies involved in financing motorcycles, personal watercraft, side-by-sides and other specialty vehicles. In-depth topics include creating a seamless integrated lender network, identifying and retaining talent in a passion-driven industry, and tapping into increased organic traffic to grow application volume.
