The rain will be heavy at times, and the wet weather will likely continue on and off through Tuesday. One to two inches of rain could fall on the tri-state by Tuesday night, according to Storm Team 4.

Tuesday night is also when a cold front will swing through, bringing in much colder air. Temperatures will fall 30 degrees in about 18 hours.
