Warriors coach Steve Kerr said before Game 2 that one of his main criticisms of his team in their Game 1 win over the Spurs was their carelessness with the ball, as the Warriors tallied 18 turnovers. “We got very careless with the ball in transition,” Kerr said. “A couple home run plays that were totally unnecessary. It felt like we were kind of going for the jugular.” Kerr can’t be happy with his team’s performance so far, as they tallied seven turnovers in the first quarter, one shy of their high in a first quarter since he became their coach, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
