Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins Share Their Favorite Episodes

Just like peanut butter and jelly, milk and cookies, and Pam and Jim, sharks and zombies just go together, don’t you think? At least, that’s what SyFy is currently trying to tell us. The network is kicking its own shark extravaganza up a notch and throwing in some zombies for good measure. Because… why not?

SyFy’s first-ever “Off the Deep End Weekend,” which will take place Saturday, Aug. 17 and Sunday, Aug. 18, will feature over a dozen different shark-related movies. It will also feature the world premiere of Zombie Tidal Wave, which comes to us from the same director of Sharknado and also stars Ian Ziering. Zombie Tidal Wave is about — wait for it — a zombie-slinging tidal wave that hits a small town causing maritime mayhem. Of course that’s what it’s about. Obviously. We’ve already got shark tornados, so zombie tsunamis just seems like the next logical step.

Zombie Tidal Wave’s world premiere will take place right in the middle of “Off The Deep End Weekend,” on Saturday, August 17 at 9 p.m. Along with that, SyFy will also be airing (deep breath): Sharknado, Sharknado 2, 3, 4 and 5, The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, Zombie Shark, Sharktopus, Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, Atomic Shark, Dam Sharks, 5-Headed Shark, 6-Headed Shark, Frenzy and Megalodon. Hopefully that’s enough sharks for you for one weekend.

A concrete schedule for when each movie will air hasn’t been released yet, but if you like sharks, and you’re interested in what kind of destruction zombies in a tidal wave can cause, be sure to block off this entire weekend. And as always, don’t go back in the water.
