It’s time to get in trouble with Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) on their Fosters spin-off.

The two young ladies will lead the series officially titled Good Trouble, TV Guide has learned. The spin-off follows Callie and Mariana as they “embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles.” The decision to move the characters to their new show comes just as Freeform moves away from family programming and is adding shows that specifically target and represent a millennial and Gen-Z audience. So expect the same issues-based content The Fosters is known for, but also include some messy 20-something relationship drama rather than family dilemmas.

The Fosters Exclusive: We Need to Talk About Brandon’s In-Laws

Freeform still hasn’t announced a premiere date for the new series, but The Fosters series finale next month will set up Callie and Mariana’s next adventure. The three-night event will center on Brandon’s (David Lambert) upcoming wedding in Turks & Caicos with the Fosters-Adams kids basically all grown up.

Good Trouble will pick up with Callie and Mariana fresh out of college and looking to start their lives as young adults in a new city. Conveniently enough, Brandon is also living and working in Los Angeles and Jude (Hayden Byerly) is studying at UCLA, so definitely expect some familiar faces to be popping up in the new series.

Are you ready to get into Good Trouble?

The Fosters series finale event kicks off June 4 at 8/7c on Freeform.
