A toddler was found alone on a Brooklyn street on Sunday morning and police are searching for his guardian, a police source tells NBC New York.
The boy, who appears to be 2 or 3 years old, was taken to Kings County hospital for a checkup and is in good health, the source said.
He was found wandering on Avenue K near 98th Street in Canarsie, the source said.
Police are canvassing the neighborhood looking for the boy’s parent or guardian, the source said.
Fire officials confirmed that someone called 911 at about 8:30 a.m. reporting that a child was walking alone on the sidewalk. The child wasn’t injured, firefighters said.
