A woman was struck by a car while crossing the street in Brooklyn, police said Saturday. The driver fled the scene.
The 57-year-old woman was walking in the crosswalk across Avenue P at East 16th Street in Midwood when she was struck by a blue sedan shortly before midnight, the NYPD said.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in critical but stable condition with trauma to her left leg, police said.
The driver remains at large.
