The rapper Tekashi69 was assaulted in Brooklyn, sources said Sunday.
The NYPD said it was investigating the assault of a 22-year-old man in the 77th Precinct, which includes part of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights.
Sources confirmed the victim was Tekashi69.
TMZ first reported the assault.
Brooklyn rapper Tekashi69, also known as 6ix9ine and Tekashi, was born Daniel Hernanzdez. His hits include “Gummo” and “Keke.”
No one has been arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
