This week’s Grey’s Anatomy will leave with you some second-hand embarrassment thanks to an awkward encounter between Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Link (Chris Carmack).
An exclusive sneak peek at Thursday’s episode finds Amelia attending a medical conference where she unexpectedly runs into the Ortho God himself. Their conversation begins innocently enough with some small talk before taking a sharp left turn when Link invites her to attend an acupuncture demonstration. Still embarrassed from crying in front of him, Amelia stumbled right into an unintentional sexual pun.

“You know what? I think I’d rather get poked…with needles,” she says in the video, immediately regretting the words that fall from her lips. “Never mind, I’m going to keep avoiding you. Have a nice time.” It’s okay, girl. Who hasn’t regressed into a verbal mess in front of a super attractive guy?
This week’s episode, titled “And Dream of Sheep,” will see Amelia try (and probably fail) to avoid Link throughout the weekend. After what went down with Owen, however, she could use a fresh new distraction, and Link certainly fits the bill. Elsewhere, Andrew and Carina will struggle with some difficult family history involving their father, and Teddy and Owen will work together to help an expectant married couple.
