Best Bang For Your Buck Motorcycle Riding Gear

Spring is here. Thank Christ. After what seemed like the longest and coldest winter in history (we say that every year) we’ve been itching to get the hell out of the house, and hit the road. We started checking out some motorcycle riding gear options and we were definitely intrigued by Roland Sands Design’s Seventy 4 collection, more importantly, its attractive price point.

We spoke with Rob Ramlose, director of product for Roland Sands Design, who told us that the Seventy 4 collection was created because while their hard parts lineup is predominantly skewed toward aftermarket V-twin customers, its apparel lineup consumer is generally more café racer, European cyclist side of the business. “We wanted to create some alignment between our apparel and hard parts businesses by creating a line that was more specifically geared toward V-twin consumers,” Rob says. “And at the same time create a price point that was competitive in that marketplace.” What you get is a V-twin focused design language, nothing over the top, with styling that people would automatically gravitate toward because it’s classically familiar. And you’re still getting a nice hand-finished Buffalo-grain leather product with removable internal liners. Everything is still CE approved for EU safety standards. Your conceal carry pocket is still there, and you get a lot of other bells and whistles, but for a fraction of the price.

Biltwell’s Lane Splitter is progressively styled and rigorously tested to meet ECE-certifications, which ain’t easy. But it’s totally worth it because the Lane Splitter helmet is a top choice for riders who demand comfort and high performance. Features include a rugged ABS outer shell, ventilated EPS safety liner, replaceable comfort liner and a clear anti-fog shield.

We wanted to provide you some stylish and affordable options that will get you geared from head to toe. All with the click of your mouse.
