Pumpernickel bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh dill, fresh chives, and smoked salmon, for serving
- In food processor, puree cream cheese with sour cream until very smooth.
- Add scallion, black and/or white sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and coarsely ground black pepper and pulse just to combine. (Can be made up to 1 day ahead. Remove from refrigerator half an hour before serving.)
- Transfer to bowl and top with additional scallions and seeds. Serve with pumpernickel bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped fresh chives, and smoked salmon if desired.
