COLORADO SPRINGS — A Colorado man on trial for murder threw a laptop across a courtroom when a judge denied his request for new representation.

The Gazette reports Glen Law Galloway, of Colorado Springs, was put in restraints Monday after temporarily being removed from the proceedings.

The incident occurred after Galloway asked Judge Gregory Werner for a “conflict hearing,” which generally indicates an irreconcilable dispute between a defendant and his defense team.

Galloway is accused of fatally shooting Marcus Anderson and ex-girlfriend Janice Nam in May 2016.
