Imagine a school that won’t put you in detention for killing someone, but for getting caught killing someone. That’s the world Marcus Arguello (Benjamin Wadsworth) enters when he enrolls at Kings Dominion in this new Deadly Class trailer.
Set in a dark, heightened world, Deadly Class tells Marcus’ story as a teen living on the streets who gets recruited into an elite, private academy that’s basically a high school for assassins. The ruthless curriculum is nothing when compared to the diabolical social politics inside the school though, since Kings Dominion is where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. At this school, teen angst is more likely to cause social murder than social suicide.
Despite the violent premise, this new trailer promises that though Deadly Class will have a harsh, bloody exterior, there’s an ooey-gooey center at the heart of the series. This trailer emphasizes the camaraderie of misfits element we all watch teen dramas for in the first place, promising, “It’s a cold cruel world. You can’t survive without a family, even if they are liars and murderers.”
