Dealers to discuss lender relationships at Powersports Finance Summit

Robert Matt, finance director at hybrid motorcycle retailer iMotorsports, and Guillermo Cornejo, chief executive of peer-to-peer motorcycle rental company Riders Share, will join the panel “Voice of the Customer: Dealers on What They Want and Need from Lenders” at the Powersports Finance Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 2:15 p.m. PT at the Wynn Las Vegas. 

The powersports executives will discuss the need to embrace technologies in the dealer orientation process, how lenders can support dealer partners in the changing market and how to create a seamless integrated lender network.

Matt joined Elmhurst, Ill.-based iMotorsports in 2016 after the retailer acquired the Florida dealership where he had been working. While working with the iMotorsports sales department in 2018, he created a new sales process that increased unit production, front grosses and product penetration. 

Cornejo co-founded the Austin, Texas-based Riders Share in 2018. With 12 years of experience in the auto industry, he began his automotive career as a remarketing strategy analyst at Nissan North America, where he analyzed sales, inventory, return rates and gross payoffs on vehicles. Cornejo also spent two years at GM Financial as a pricing analyst and was a manager of collections strategy and analytics at Hyundai Capital America.
