Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed on a two-year, $30 million extension with the Denver Nuggets, his agent, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.

Caldwell-Pope arrived in the trade that sent Will Barton and Monte Morris to the Washington Wizards two weeks ago.

He was entering the final year of his deal at $14 million in 2022-23.

Caldwell-Pope, in his first full season with the Wizards, played and started in 77 games for Washington. He averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

For his career, which has also included stops with the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers, he has averaged 11.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
