Elementary fans can finally breathe easy. In a surprising move, CBS has decided to give the dynamic duo that is Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) a seventh season!
CBS went on a cancellation spree this afternoon, axing several series including Kevin Can Wait, Scorpion, Superior Donuts and more, and for a minute there, it seemed like Elementary would be next on the chopping block. However, despite currently being CBS’ lowest-rated drama, Elementary still manages to rake in money with its international success and syndication, which is no doubt how this bubble show snagged a last-minute renewal.
Elementary joins Criminal Minds, S.W.A.T., MacGyver and more on CBS’ list of 2018-19 renewals.
