A firefighter was seriously injured Sunday while putting out a blaze in the Bronx, the FDNY said.
The fire broke out on the top floor of a three-story building on Mayflower Avenue in the Pelham Bay neighborhood, the FDNY said. It was under control by 9 p.m.
The firefighter was brought to Jacobi Hospital.
