RICHMOND, Va. –

Kim Waterman, a former general manager for Manheim in the Southwest, is the new general sales manager for Richmond Auto Auction.

Waterman started out as a dealer service manager in 2002 and eventually became general manager for Manheim in the Southwest. She served in various roles during her 18-year Manheim career.

“We are very excited to have Kim on our team,” Richmond Auto Auction general manager Wyatt Carter said in a news release. “Her more than 18 years of auction experience will be a great asset for our organization.”

Part of the AMS Auction Network, Richmond Auto Auction operates on 35 acres of land and can run seven simultaneous lanes, full reconditioning and mechanical facilities, in-house body shop, and in-house transportation, and AutoIMS, with full integrated online capabilities.

Carter said the company has spent a great deal of time building a base of dealer consignment business and some fleet/lease and repossession business over the past several years. The business is now looking to expand deeper into the world of national consignors, Carter said.

Waterman said, “I’m honored to be working with such a great team here at Richmond Auto Auction.”
