Rep. Chris Collins expected to plead guilty to insider trading: reports
New York Republican Rep. Chris Collins, one of President Donald Trump’s earliest supporters in Congress, is expected to plead guilty to insider trading charges, reports said Monday. Collins had previously pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to change his plea in federal court on Tuesday, Bloomberg and the Washington Post reported. Collins has been accused of insider trading with family members who were holding the stock of an Australian biotech company on whose board he was serving. Formerly named Innate Immunotherapeutics, the company is now called Amplia Therapeutics .
