Luann de Lesseps Says She Was Groped by Russell Simmons – Today’s News: Our Take

Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps has levied an allegation of sexual assault against hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, the (former) Countess revealed, “He grabbed my *ss in an elevator, he was just a pig. I haven’t told anybody about that before. I was grossed out. I was like ‘How dare you.’ He invaded me, he took advantage of me, being who he is, thinking he is all ‘it,’ all everything. He thought he could just do that. I looked at him and said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.'”

De Lesseps claimed that the alleged incident took place three years ago in Miami, Florida and that he did not apologize for such behavior.

Simmons has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women. Through a spokesperson, Simmons denied the allegations, albeit with a previously issued statement that doesn’t directly address the reality star’s story.
