The city is warning of extensive traffic delays and major emergency presence near West and Murray streets in Manhattan as authorities respond to a report of a possible worker or workers stuck on scaffolding at least four stories high.
It wasn’t clear if anyone was actually stuck, but the report came in around 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Chopper 4 showed nearly a half-dozen fire and emergency vehicles near the scene. An empty scaffold was seen hanging on the side of the building, several firefighters near a broken window inside.
