Three children and a man were ejected from a car during a rollover crash Sunday morning on Colorado 82 north of Carbondale.
Colorado State Patrol Trooper Chris Simpson said the 42-year-old male and two of the minors had critical injuries. The third child had minor injuries. All four were airlifted to hospitals in the Denver area.
The car, which was eastbound on Highway 82, was the only vehicle involved. Simpson did not have information on the type of vehicle or what caused the crash.
State patrol received the call at 10:45 a.m. and blocked the lanes at 10:52 a.m. Eastbound lanes were reopened shortly after 11 a.m. Westbound traffic was being diverted onto a frontage road.
