Police are searching for a man who may have tried to kidnap a four-year-old girl on Staten Island Saturday evening, officials said.
Police received a call reporting an attempted abduction near Mapleton Avenue and Olympia Boulevard, in Midland Beach, shortly before 5:30 p.m., the NYPD said.
The suspect is a man who was last seen driving a black Toyota Prius with Georgia license plates.
Police didn’t immediately provide additional information about the incident.
