Henry Cavill hasn’t had his fill of protecting mankind from monsters quite yet.

The Man of Steel is now headlining Netflix’s The Witcher, a live-action series adaptation of the best-selling book series by Andrzej Sapkowski (which also inspired the hit video games). On Monday, the streaming service revealed a series of photos that give us a closer look at Cavill’s turn as Geralt, the titular hunter, who must grapple with both beasts and the wicked tendencies of those he serves.

The first official photos from the series feature Cavill as the blonde-haired swordsman, sporting a look that falls somewhere between Legolas from The Lord of the Ringsand a House Stark bannerman from Game of Thrones. Also revealed in the new batch of images are some symbols that resemble the direwolf sigil and The Hunger Games‘ Mockinjay pin, along with shots of Anya Cholatra as Yennefer the sorceress and Freya Allan as Ciri, the the princess of Cintra and the Lady of Time and Space.

Netflix has also announced that The Witcher will be featured at San Diego Comic-Con this year. All three leads will come together with showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich at a panel on July 19 at 2:15 p.m. Pacific time in Hall H. Yvette Nicole Brown will serve as moderator.
