The Jones family has had a pretty rough time of it lately on Riverdale. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) was beaten potentially to death and now FP (Skeet Ulrich) is turning back to the bottle to cope!
The fallout from Jughead’s beatdown from the Ghoulies and the next stage of Hiram Lodge’s (Mark Consuelos) plan to take over Riverdale — which includes some staff changes at Pops — will be a little bit too much for FP to take in the Season 2 finale and he’ll find comfort in his old vices. Ulrich confided in TV Guide that FP’s backslide is an “interesting emotional answer” to the drama consuming the town.

But what will this backslide mean for FP and Jughead if he survives his injuries? Let’s not forget that FP is on parole and Hiram now controls the sheriff’s station. This new development could mean even more bad news for the Jones family ahead.
Riverdale airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
