This year marks two milestones for the United States Open.

It’s the 50th anniversary of the tournament in the Open era and the 40th anniversary of the tournament moving from the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, Queens, to the U.S.T.A. National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows.

For an upcoming section on the Open we want to hear from readers. We want to know the most memorable moments you have of the tournament.

What’s your favorite celebrity run-in? Were you a ball boy or ball girl? Did you get stuck in a rain delay? Were you in the stands during Jimmy Connors’ epic 1991 run? Did you see the Open at the West Side Tennis Club? Please tell us in 100 words or less.

Your name and comments may be published, but your contact information will not. A reporter or editor may follow up with you to hear more about your story.
