The Saved By The Bell cast had a mini reunion over the weekend — or at least most of the cast did. Mario Lopez shared an image of himself with former co-stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen and their spouses at dinner, captioning the special moment “Friends forever.” Indeed, it’s been 30 friggin years since the series we know and loved started airing on NBC and, wading through the comments, fans seem to think they’ve all held up pretty well. (Some commenters threw plenty of Dustin Diamond shade, but we’re gonna take the high road and ignore that.)

This wasn’t their first time reuniting. Jimmy Fallon brought the crew back together in 2015, putting Slater (Lopez) back in his famous black unitard and having Jesse (Berkley) say she was “so excited, so scared,” in a reference to that iconic episode when Jesse got hooked on caffeine pills.

Of course, in this time of reboots and revivals, the cast’s reunion set tongues wagging about bringing the show back in another iteration. And while fans clamor for a revival series is surely understandable, it’s a long shot: apart from the sheer incredulity of those kids being back together as adults, Gosselaar currently stars on of the ‘pretty goodiest new show of the season’ and red carpets literally cannot exist without Mario Lopez standing on them.

Saved By the Bell is currently available for streaming on Hulu.
