Criminal Minds Sneak Peek: The Team Has a Reluctant Unsub
We finally have a premiere date for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3!
Hulu announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the hit series will return on Wednesday, June 5 with three new episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released on the streaming service every Wednesday. This new season promises to deliver startling reunions — it’s hard to decide whether we want June (Elisabeth Moss) to reunite with her daughter, her husband or her lover more at this point — as well as betrayals. This year, we’ll see June on a terrifying mission through Gilead as the rumblings of rebellion begin to grow. If the new tagline, “Blessed be the fight,” doesn’t get you amped up for this season, then we don’t know what will!
The Season 2 finale saw Emily (Alexis Bledel) escaping Gilead with the help of Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford), while June made the impossible choice to send her infant daughter off with them as she stayed back to find her other daughter, Hannah, still held hostage in Gilead. Meanwhile, Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) had just come to the horrifying realization that Gilead was as dangerous for her and her child as it was for June, and Nick (Max Minghella) was left in a sticky situation with Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes), having also aided in June’s escape.
