LAS VEGAS — Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young left Sunday’s NBA Summer League game against the Portland Trail Blazers with a right quad contusion.

Young, the No. 5 pick of this year’s draft, was scoreless in nine minutes of action in the first half Sunday. He attempted just two shots before being ruled out at halftime.

During four summer games in Utah and Las Vegas, Young has averaged 14.8 points and 6.0 assists per game, albeit on 25 percent shooting and 18 percent accuracy from 3-point range. Young’s 21 points on Saturday against the New York Knicks were his most in an Atlanta uniform.

The Hawks next play against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.
