If you’ve been thinking about taking the leap of swapping the factory final belt drive system for a chain-drive conversion, Trask Performance has the fix.

A chain-driven final drive is the tried and true solution that motorcycles have been using for years. It also improves performance with less than 5% transmission loss compared to a belt drive, which loses around 10-15% of transmission power when transferring power to the rear wheel. A chain drive is also easier to maintain, clean and lube.

If you’re a bagger owner with a factory cush-drive setup, you might be thinking a chain conversion isn’t for you. Wrong! Trask Performance offers this handy little Cush Drive Conversion kit for all factory Harley-Davidson baggers with cush-drive setups.

Designed to upgrade the stock belt drive to chain drive for the rider that demands big power from their Harley-Davidson Touring Model. The custom steel rear sprocket and Trask custom billet aluminum carrier are easy to install. The sprockets are heat treated and coated for long lasting wear and all conversion kits come with high-quality bearings and spacers. As with all Trask components, these chain-conversion sprocket kits are proudly made in the USA at the Trask facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Trask Cush Drive Chain Conversion kit fits 2009-2021 Harley-Davidson Touring Models with factory cush-drive setup. The kit works with both factory wheels and aftermarket wheels with cush-drive hubs. The rear 51-tooth kit sprocket ratios are comparable to stock and feature a 25-tooth front sprocket. You will need a minimum 120-link 530 chain (required), and Trask recommends a high quality o-ring style chain (sold separately).

When doing any driveline maintenance, be sure to reference your factory service manual, and pay attention to proper chain and sprocket maintenance to prevent premature wear. The chain will stretch so always be sure to keep it adjusted and lubricated properly.
