Nick Trask, from Trask Performance is no stranger to horsepower. Trask Performance has been selling high-end turbocharger kits for Harley-Davidson motorcycles for over 20 years. When the performance bagger trend started to take shape, Trask was definitely at the forefront and gained several turbocharger customers as a result. Leave it to the natural order of things for Trask to start developing his own line of performance baggers. Based off of Harley-Davidson Road Glide models, Trask released a line of fully equipped and heavily modified custom motorcycles with upgraded suspension systems, top-of-the-line braking components, lightweight bodywork and of course, a Trask turbocharger system.

Before you is Number 10 in the Trask Performance series of aggressive, well-handling baggers built by the Trask team. A labor of love, not only to showcase the Trask performance parts, but also the opportunity to tap what the top manufacturers in the motorcycle industry offered. The end goal was to create a truly lightweight, powerful performance bagger that was ready for the road. In doing so, creating this performance bagger series served as a platform for the Trask Performance race bike you’ve seen in King Of The Baggers and Bagger Racing League.

Trask Performance turbo
A Trask Turbocharger helps this bike produce 210 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane pump fuel with 8 pounds of boost.

On top of pulling Trask performance parts from the shelves, the following high-performance components also fit the bill: S&S 128 power package, Öhlins front suspension,  Legend rear suspension, Hofmann Designs carbon fiber body parts, Kraus triple trees and gauge relocation kit, BST carbon fiber wheels, Beringer brake calipers, Ward Performance ported and polished heads, Dark Horse compensator sprocket, Flo Motorsports levers and more.

Trask BST Wheels
Lightweight BST carbon fiber wheels were a no-brainer for the Assault Glide series.

When it came to challenges, timing is always the achilles heel of any builder. Trask and company had the deadline of getting all the parts and assembling the bike with a full custom Assault paint scheme, done by Crash Daddy’s Kolor Chop, in time for its debut at Daytona Bike Week. When overcoming challenges, it certainly merits the reward of riding the finished product and truly enjoying what you created.

Any full build requires the ability to have an open mind and to be able to think outside the box.  Trask Performance was able to achieve that with the line of Assault Glide baggers. Note: this bike was built for a customer to accent one of his other motor vehicles and he did not care for the final color pattern. His loss is your gain, so yes, this bike is available for purchase.

With all that added power, you need a durable clutch and AIM Corp got the call.
