Two suspects in custody as Adams County sheriff investigates two separate homicides

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has two suspects in custody as they investigate two separate homicides that occurred on Saturday.

The sheriff’s office released limited details about the cases, saying the investigations for both are still ongoing.

The first homicide happened at about 2:10 a.m. on Lipan Street north of West 70th Avenue. A suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree murder.

Then, just before 4:30 p.m., the second homicide occurred on Broadway north of Colorado 36.

The sheriff’s office is not looking for additional suspects.
