We finally know when we’ll get the second half of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 4, but be warned, it’s forever away.

New episodes will officially hit Netflix on January 25, 2019, but they’ll also be the last ones. The first six episodes of the fourth season launched Wednesday, May 30, but right before the drop, it was reported that Season 4 would be the show’s last. Consequently, the final six episodes — six, not seven as we all thought — of Season 4 were bumped to next year, giving Netflix plenty of time to market the launch of the show’s final episodes.

If you’re dreading the end though, there may still be hope on the horizon.

Executive producer and co-showrunner Robert Carlock recently told The Hollywood Reporter that there are still plans in the works to create a wrap-up movie to end Kimmy’s (Ellie Kemper) story, which is probably that mystery seventh episode from the second half of Season 4 that we all thought was coming. “We now have a shorter runway than we originally thought we would and don’t want to overstuff it and rush it,” Carlock said. “And there are things that I think would be fun to hold off for kind of a big epic finale in feature form.”

The first six episodes of Season 4 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are now streaming on Netflix.
