Sabrina the Teenage Witch Casts Sends Support to Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

On the eve of the premiere of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch had the cutest message of support for the new incarnation of their characters.

Melissa Joan Hart, the OG Sabrina, sent lots of love to Kiernan Shipka who is taking up the mantle in the new series. “I just wanted to send my best witches to Kiernan Shipka, AKA the new Sabrina Spellman. By the way, from one Sabrina to another, if you’re ever given the choice between a broom and a vacuum, choose the vacuum.”

Nate Richart, who played Sabrina’s boyfriend Harvey on Sabrina the Teenage Witch made sure to let the new Harvey, Ross Lynch, know that he’s pulling for him in this darker take on the tale. “I hear the new Sabrina is scarier and pretty damn twisted. I’m rooting for you, buddy. Stay alive!”

When it comes to reboots, cast members from the original can be anything from apathetic to outraged, so it’s nice to see an OG cast showing up to support the newbies like this! Thanks for being so pure and reminding us this world might not be a total dumpster fire after all, guys!
