A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed inside a fried chicken restaurant in Jersey City Wednesday afternoon, authorities say.
It’s not clear what led to the shooting inside US Fried Chicken in the area of Bidwell Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive around 3:30 p.m., or whether the victim was targeted.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office says its homicide unit is investigating. The victim has not been identified.
